In January, the average home price in Vaughan decreased by 6% year-on-year, while the transaction volume significantly increased by 53% compared to the same period last year.

Looking at different categories, the average price of Condo apartments declined by 8%, contributing to the overall decline in Vaughan’s average price. Other types such as detached houses and semi-detached houses saw a slight increase of 1%, while townhouses witnessed a 6% year-on-year increase in average price.

In January, the transaction volume for various types of housing in Vaughan generally increased compared to the previous year, with detached houses increasing by 30%, semi-detached houses by 15%, townhouses up by 87%, and Condo apartment transactions increased by 91%.

In November, the average price for second-hand homes in Vaughan decreased by 7% year-on-year, with a mild increase of 5% in transaction volume year-on-year.

Categorically, the average prices for detached houses and semi-detached houses in Vaughan increased by 4% year-on-year. However, the average prices for townhouses and Condos decreased by 6% and 8% year-on-year respectively.

In terms of transaction volume, the volume for detached houses in Vaughan decreased by 17% year-on-year, while the transaction volume for townhouses doubled, and the transaction volume for Condos increased by 33% year-on-year.

In October, the resale housing prices in Vaughan experienced a slight year-on-year decrease of 1%, while the transaction volume increased by 20% compared to the same period.

Categorically, in October, the average price for detached houses in Vaughan increased by 4% year-on-year, semi-detached houses increased by 3%, townhouses increased by 6%, and the average price for condos showed a slight year-on-year decrease of 1%.

In terms of transaction volume, in October, the transaction volume for detached houses in Vaughan increased by 9% year-on-year, while townhouses and condos saw significant increases of 40% and 35%, respectively.
