In June, the condo market in Downtown Toronto showed weak performance, with the average price dropping 5% compared to the same period last year. Transaction volumes falling by 30%.

In the C08 district, east of Yonge Street, condo prices fell by 6% from the previous year, with transaction volumes down by one-third year-on-year

In the C01 district, which includes the University of Toronto St. George campus , condo prices decreased by 5% year-over-year to an average of $775,000, remaining flat month-over-month, while transaction volumes fell by 28% from last year.

In April, the average price of Condo apartments in downtown Toronto remained unchanged compared to the previous year, with a month-on-month increase of 1.6%, but the transaction volume contracted by 13% year-on-year.

In the C01 district west of Yonge Street containing the University of Toronto campus, the average price of Condos dropped slightly by 1% compared to the same period last year, with a month-on-month increase of 1.2%. The average price is close to CAD 800,000, with a 10% decrease in transaction volume compared to the previous year.

In the C08 district east of Yonge Street, the average price of Condo apartments increased by 3% both year-on-year and month-on-month, but the transaction volume dropped by 17% year-on-year.

Overall, the downtown Toronto Condo market in April maintained a pattern of “price stable and volume drop”.

In March, the average resale price of Condo apartments in downtown Toronto remained flat compared to the previous year, with a month-on-month increase of 1.3%. However, the transaction volume decreased by a quarter compared to the same period last year.

In the C08 area east of Yonge Street, the average price of condominium decreased by 4% compared to the previous year, but rebounded by 6% month-on-month. However, the transaction volume decreased by 30% year-on-year.

In the C01 area west of Yonge Street, which includes the University of Toronto campus, the average price of condos increased slightly by 1% year-on-year, but the transaction volume decreased by 21% compared to the previous year.

Overall, the condo market in downtown Toronto in March remained weak in both price and transaction volume.

In January, the average price of Condo apartments in downtown Toronto decreased by 1% year-on-year, while from the trend chart, there was a stabilizing rebound in prices month-on-month, increasing by 4.3%. The transaction volume also saw an increase of 64% year-on-year.

In the C08 area east of Yonge Street, Condo prices experienced a slight year-on-year decrease of 1%. Meanwhile, on a month-on-month basis, prices stabilized and increased by 0.5%. The transaction volume surged significantly, expanding by 159% year-on-year.

In the C01 area west of Yonge Street, which contains the University of Toronto downtown St. George campus, the average price of Condo apartments increased by 2% compared to the same period last year. Month-on-month, there was a substantial increase of 7.4% in prices, and the transaction volume increased by 32% year-on-year.

In November, the average price for condo in downtown Toronto decreased by 4% year-on-year, showing a slower decline compared to the previous month. The transaction volume also experienced a year-on-year contraction of 17%.

In the C01 area west of Yonge Street, which contains the University of Toronto downtown St. George campus, the average price for condo decreased by 7% compared to the same period last year, with the transaction volume decreasing by nearly 20% year-on-year.

In the C08 area east of Yonge Street, condo average price showed a slight year-on-year increase of 1%, with a significant month-on-month increase of 6.5%. However, the transaction volume experienced a year-on-year decrease of 14%.

In October, the performance of condos in downtown Toronto was poor, with the average price decreasing by 9% compared to the same period last year. However, the transaction volume increased by 9% year-on-year.

In the C01 area west of Yonge Street, including the University of Toronto campus, the average price of condos fell by 11% compared to the same period last year, while the transaction volume increased by 12% year-on-year. The transaction volume also rose compared to the previous month.

In the C08 area east of Yonge Street, the average price of condos decreased by 6% year-on-year, but the transaction volume increased by 4% compared to the same period last year.
