In April, the overall average price of resale homes in Newmarket increased by 2% year-on-year, while the transaction volume decreased by 12% compared to the same period last year.

The average price of detached houses in Newmarket has been steadily increasing since September of last year. In April, the average price reached 1.41 million dollars, representing a 7% year-on-year increase and a 5% month-on-month increase. The transaction volume for detached houses decreased by 18% compared to the previous year.

In April, the average prices of semi-detached houses, townhouses, and Condo apartments in Newmarket all saw a decrease compared to the previous year. However, the average prices of townhouses and Condo apartments increased month-on-month.

In March, the overall average price of resale homes in Newmarket declined by 3% year-on-year, while transaction volume decreased by 5%.

Newmarket’s real estate market is primarily represented by detached houses. In March, the average price of detached houses was $1.34 million, showing a 3% increase compared to the same period last year. However, the transaction volume for detached houses decreased by 12% year-on-year.

In March, the prices of semi-detached houses, townhouses, and condominiums in Newmarket all experienced declines compared to the previous year. However, due to their relatively small transaction volumes, the prices exhibited greater fluctuations due to incidental factors.
